Using fertility medications, we gently encourage your ovaries to develop multiple follicles, each of which may contain an egg. We monitor your progress through regular ultrasound scans, and the number of follicles that develop will vary from person to person. Your pre-treatment tests help give us both a clearer picture of what to expect. When the time is right, a final hormone injection triggers the maturation process, and your egg retrieval takes place 36 hours later.

Most patients needing to access IVF in Ireland will need to pay for private treatment, which is why Thérapie Fertility has streamlined fertility treatment, making it more affordable than ever. Some couples who meet strict eligibility criteria may be offered one round of free IVF via the HSE.
As of September 2023, those who meet certain eligibility criteria can access one round of free IVF. In order to access this treatment through the HSE, the couple must attend their GP for referral to a national fertility hub. Once they do so and are put forward for a free cycle, they will then be able to choose to attend any of the private IVF clinics, including Thérapie Fertility.
The average cost of IVF in Ireland is between 6,000 to 7,000. Thérapie Fertility offer the most affordable IVF cycle in Ireland at 4,595.
